The executive director of the Chelsea Collaborative<\/a>\u00a0started as a receptionist 28 years ago and became the second staff member.<\/p>\n Ashlyn and Judy met through the Big Sister program and now feel like family to each other.<\/p>\n Project Role Model featured young girls and their mentors walking down an illuminated runway with cameras capturing their confidence, friendship and unique bond.<\/p>\n A student group is working to protect undocumented students in the wake of the Trump administration\u2019s efforts to increase deportations.<\/p>\n The money will be used to provide services, which are often overlooked\u00a0by other charities, to refugee children .<\/p>\n \n Many at the rally\u00a0expressed their concerns that the Trump administration is ignoring, or in some cases attacking, scientific knowledge.<\/p>\n The walk along the Charles River was 2.5 miles, the estimated distance women and children have to walk to get clean water in developing nations.<\/p>\n \n The free program\u00a0not only teaches English, but also provides students with\u00a0knowledge about\u00a0community, health, finances and the workplace environment.<\/p>\n More than 1,500 people participated in the yearly event.<\/p>\n \n Multicultural choir traveled on a “peace train” mission throughout South Africa spreading messages of unity.<\/p>\n Some\u00a011 out of 15,131<\/a>\u00a0restaurants in the state\u00a0have declared themselves to be\u00a0sanctuary restaurants, promising to protect undocumented \u00a0workers.<\/p>\n
