Cat Trudell is a multimedia reporter based in Boston. Originally from Vermont, her love for travel and storytelling has brought her all around the world. She hopes to continue traveling as a journalist and take over Anthony Bourdain’s throne as a travel host on CNN someday. Until that moment, she’ll continue schlepping around her camera bag and hitting the streets to tell the untold stories about interesting, ordinary humans, and issues that really matter.

Nyan Lynn is a graduate journalism student at Emerson College. He is from Myanmar. He is co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Mawkun, a monthly in-depth magazine, in Myanmar. He has been in the media industry since mid-2006. He has covered a broad range of issues, including humanitarian crises. He learned journalism in Thailand. With an aim to improve his journalism skills, he is now studying in the U.S. on a Fulbright Scholarship Program.

Alexandra Venancio is a graduate student at Emerson College. She works as an investigative intern at WPRI Channel 12 in East Providence, RI. Alexandra hopes to use her passion for storytelling and curiosity of the world around her to propel her career in journalism.
